I have just started writing articles online and I am not very good at it, I have to tell ya. I found something that actually helps out a lot, and I was able to afford it by taking my pop cans back! It's so cheap and so helpful that I am super upset that I didn't find it before today! I have been wasting so much time doing things the wrong way!!!!!!!
Go here to find out more about this. http://scrnch.me/99o7h
Join me in my quest to show America that Iowa isn't just full of corn and cows. Yes we actually have cities and paved roads here......

What should I do?
I have been on a health kick lately. Since I started drinking slimfast and working out earlier this year I have lost 15 pounds! Yay go me! I want to kick the habit of drinking Diet Mountain Dew because it is bad for you and yadda yadda yadda, but I just can't.
I started drinking Vitamin Water Zero, the lemonade kind, and it is really good! But nothing compares to the sweet taste of carbonated water and orange juice that makes up DMD. I can't get enough of that caffeine and the more I try to quit drinking it, the more I crave it!

what's going to happen on AGT?
I'm getting excited to watch America's Got Talent in 15 minutes! A lot of the really boring people are gone, but if I have to watch that guy on the bike one more time I might have to stop watching. Why would America vote him through?
In my opinion, the only acts that would make money in Vegas are Fighting Gravity and Arcattack. I have been voting for both of them, but I like FG better and hope they win! ;)

Attention!
As I walked around Target today to get a new frying pan and curling iron, I ran into the back to school section. Of course they don't have supply lists for my son's kindergarten, but I already know what he needs so I was fine. One thing in particular has been on my mind since I am a single mom and money is hard to come by.
It's a kindergarten rest mat. On the school supply list I received in my packet from the school it said that these mats are located at Wal-Mart. A Wal-Mart they are $8.88! Holy cow! I can get him a camping mat for $5. Ugh. I didn't purchase one when I was at Wal-Mart because I want to wait until tax free shopping weekend on Friday and Saturday.
Anyway.......I saw a rest mat at Target! AND GUESS HOW MUCH IT WAS! Only $6! I got that, my curling iron, frying pan and a couple water bottles for the waterpark tomorrow and got outta there. I had to share this information with someone because I feel our kindergarten is favoring Wal-Mart over Target, or they just don't know that Target has them available.
Well they do! They are cheaper and they are more padded for a more comfy rest time :)
Share this with other kindergarten moms you know!

Motorola Droid (Verizon Wireless) Smartphone reviews - CNET Reviews
I have had the phone since my birthday in June and can't get over how many cool apps there are to add to it! I love how Google is integrated into the phone allowing me to speak search words for Google to search online for me.
I really love the speech to text function, it makes texting so much easier (if you speak slowly and clearly that is) It took me a while, and many screwed up texts to figure that one out!
It's a beautiful phone and with the right cover for it, makes a great accessory to show off your personality! Mine is purple with black zebra stripes.

The super fun events of the day!
This morning I went to take my car into Blain's Farm & Fleet to get new tires. I was going to get them yesterday but the bank had a hold on my funds because of a $2,000 check I recently deposited.
Anyhoo, somewhere between my home in Hudson and Farm & Fleet in Cedar Falls I lost my wallet. The cities are about 15 minutes apart, and I have no idea where or how my wallet slipped out of my purse!
My car was already getting the tires put on when I was at Walmart with my mom and kids and I realized I didn't have a wallet anymore!
My mom gave me her keys and I drove home to see if I could find my wallet, only to find out that my keys were at Farm & Fleet with the dang car! I had to break in to my apartment through my bedroom window and climb onto my daughter's bed. :(
Well no sign of the stupid wallet. And it's not hard to find, it's a big, flat, black wallet with shiny black zebra stripes on it.
I left home and went back to Farm & Fleet to look in my car. (Maybe, if I was lucky, my wallet was on the floorboard in the front seat!) NOPE! All I had with me was my checkbook, but no ID to verify my identity. To make matters worse, when I went to pay for the tires, the cashier wrote my current address on the checks and crossed out the old one.
The lady that came to verify my check told me never to cross out information on my checks and write in new information because it makes the check look fradulent. I said "Your clerk did that, not me." And the cashier just stood there and stared off into the distance like I was lying and trying to pull one over on their business.
WHAT A GREAT BEGINNING TO THE DAY!
This all took place before 10 o'clock this morning........
Now it's 4:20, the kids have already taken their nap, I have gone to the bank and gotten a new debit card, went to the DOT and got a new ID, well a temporary ID until the new one gets mailed to me........that is another part of the story that just grinds my gears. Ugh.
Went to the bank, had to cancel my debit card, wanted them to make a new one on the spot with their debit card machine and he told me to go to a different branch. Went to that branch and they told me I needed an ID first......would've been nice to know from the other branch that I would've needed that before I wasted my time going there. Waited for a half hour with my 2 kids, ages 3 and 4 at the DOT for a new ID, went to another branch which was extremely busy, got the new debit card. Whew.
I had to call 3 different numbers to get new medical cards, a new Iowa Debit Card (for FIP) and a new foodstamp card. All of these I will not get for another 2 weeks, and it really hurts without that foodstamp card because we have barely any food right now. Looks like we will be eating a lot of rice in the next couple weeks. :(
